With focus on Sunrise, we started practicing at 6.30 pm today (most of us hadn't played TM:O since last Tuesday...). But that doesn't mean the match was to be boring and one-sided.
We started on snow, eh with Gandos, Kiff and me, TP with Flipper, Xardas and Insomnia. All the rounds were very close, and it started well for the elk hunters with a 3-1 lead. The TP started making less mistakes, and it went to 4-4. Flipper was the best player throughout the map, and the other TP's got a little more consistent. We on the other hand started making more and more mistakes when we started to get tired, which could be due to little training. But that doesn't take any of the glory away from the good last rounds from TP, which gave them the score 10-5.
Next was speed. Echo took my place, and we were ready to go. Flipper was again the best player. This was a fun map to watch (replays in the elkracing.com forum), especcially some of the many mistakes gave excitement. Kiff lead halfway almost every time, but 90% of those times he crashed before the tunnel I the middle of the tunnel Echo realised Kiff was behind, so he usually smashed into the tunnel wall. These mistakes by the hunters were several times leveled out by Insomnia and Xardas in the turn after the long jump. (I told you I had fun watching ). With that said, there were also some exellent performence by the same players. Both teams had a couple of very nice 1-2-3's. The map developed like the map before: Close to about 4-4, then TP got their act together to win 10-5.
Last we went on to rally, a great LE1 map by Vortex. Actually, all the maps this round was very enjoyable!! This lead was usually a fight between Gandos and Flipper, with Gandos getting the most victories. I was usually in a vacuum in 3rd place (2 victories). Kiff usually ended in 4th or 5th, so most points went to eh. In the end we took the map 10-2. We also did our best driving here. But this was of course easier when TP drove their worst in the match
GG to TP for a good comeback into the league! This was a fun and exciting match!

Great Game, eh!
It really made a lot of fun and before next match I'll reduce detail level, because I had a horrible cpu performance decrease on rally, I couldn't really influence the result by taking 6th places with 5 or more seconds behind my training times ...
By the way, the Google Translation is HORRIBLE I think you all could translate it better ^^
Well we are looking forward for contacting you for a funmatch after LE5 because it made a lot of fun to go against you |
