SL0 Match 7: eh vs Pp

The last match of the season was to be a close and fun one! This was the match for the second spot on the table. Now I finally have some time to write this. With the playoffs coming directly after this match, I had to look forward, and not backwards.

We started on Bay. Pp drove with Joe, Banzai and bapt, the elk hunters drove with Gandos, Rustray and me. We started well and got the two first points. From that point on, Pp stopped making silly mistakes (I made more of them…) and got point after point. Joe was awesome in front most of the time. He made a 55 round and lots of 56 rounds. In the end Pp won 7-3.

The second map of the day was a nice Coast map. Here Nanteq took Rustray’s spot on the eh team and and Shark changed places with bapt. Actually bapt (I think) started, but had to give up his spot because of some problem after 4 rounds. Nanteq won the first round, I won the next and Gandos also won one soon. 3-1 to the elk hunters. Then Pp switched their player and got a boost to make it 3-3. But from then on out the eh players were more consistent and won the map 7-3. Gandos was great as always, Nanteq did some great rounds and I made the team complete. This was still a very close map, probably because of the design. A couple of times the time from when the first player crossed the finish line to the last player did was less than 1.5 seconds!

Last the Island lap map was played. Kiff took my spot on the team, and March played for Banzai on the YS team. Here the elk hunters really played well. They outclassed Pp and won each round 1-2-3. Nanteq was brilliant and won three races. As the nice guy he is, he let Kiff and Gandos win one round each. 5-0 to eh.

It’s the end of a season and we in eh are quite happy with the result. We only lost one match and only three maps. We are still undefeated on Island. I wasn’t able to play in the 2-1 loss the division winners SFO, but I hope I get the chance next season. Cya all in the fall, and GL to the remaining playoff teams!
