SL0 Round 5: eh vs mPC

We didn't have Gandos in this match, but we still felt confident when we started the match on the bay map. mPC played the whole match with swan, kerry and Deguera1, and eh played the two first maps with Kiff, Rustray and me.

The eh players had the number one spot in all the rounds. Kiff and Rustray each won two and I won four. We all made some huge mistakes, and in round 5 when Kiff and Rustray both made big mistakes and finished 10 seconds behind me, mPC took the opportunity to score a point. I returned the favour to my team mates by driving just as badly as they did in the next two rounds (PAYBACK!!!). They did the job of course with a 1-2 in both rounds. We won the map 7-1.

On Island I started well and won the two first rounds. Then I made more mistakes. Kiff won three rounds and Rustray won two, so I think we shared well between us In the last round I never made it to the finish, as I made a nice dive into the sea... My team mates did the job though!

Finally we drove the Coast lap map. guom and Nanteq joined me. This map is very nice, but it was not much fun driving it today. One thing was that none of us played well. But the reason is pretty obvious: Only in one round did a mPC player manage to get to the finish (congrats Deguara1).

It's a bit boring to play when the other team goes into the match without having tested the maps. Especcially on long lap maps when they have little chance of finishing. I understand that they wish to play this way, but I'm glad this will be the only season with this many unbalanced matches. Next season should be more fun for both "serious" teams and "just-4-fun" teams. Maybe there should be a league where people don't know the maps before the match It could be fun!

Anyway, it was a nice atmosphere in the match. And the mPC team consists of nice guys! Thanks for the match!
